This map shows AT&T coverage minus all western US roaming partners west of the Mississippi River. Alltel is AT&T's largest roaming partner in the rural west and Alltel is in the process of being purchased by Verizon Wireless. There is no evidence of any such loss of service, we show this strictly for discussion purposes. Some roaming coverage in this area is not provided by Alltel, so this is an exaggerated view.
