About Our Cellular Maps

The Cellular Map Net is an alternative collection of cellular coverage and information maps. Some maps are either hard to find or are no longer available elsewhere. Our maps include:

• Coverage Comparisons
• Licensed Service Areas
• Coverage Map Archives
• Coverage for Small Carriers
• Merger and Acquisition Maps
• FCC Cellular Market Areas

We travel across the country using cellular service, and we have collected contributions from dozens of other like-minded cellular users. Many of them have given us mile-by-mile experiences along various highways, allowing us to compare the accuracy of published coverage maps. This site is a result of these passionate contributors and their observations, made entirely as a volunteer effort. However, there are costs in running this site, and those expenses are paid by a small commission from "affiliate" links. So, if you ever buy cellular phones, service or accessories online, we would really appreciate you doing so by clicking on any of the advertising banners and links you see on our site, like the ones above, or shop at any of the links on the Cellular Map Net Discount Page. We also get a few pennies if you use the Dex Yellow Pages link, found on the bottom of this, and most of our other pages. We also accept advertising, but our reviews are never influenced by any advertiser (although they've tried). OUR WEB SITE'S TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:
We have optimized this site to work well with all modern browsers and try to keep the content on each page relatively easy to download, even on a slower connection. We create most pages to look and operate best with a 1024-pixel monitor width but still look acceptable and easy to navigate with an 800-pixel width screen. We try to provide multiple links on each page to each of our other pages, and do not support any pop-ups or intrusive advertising. In addition to welcoming comment on our content, we also invite suggestions on our display and page arrangement.

This site displays some copyrighted material and we normally seek permission for use. If permission is denied we will remove the material and seek an alternate source such as the FCC. As an affiliate of the cellular carriers and their authorized retailers, we have permission to display their names, trade marks and coverage maps.
